Dental Heath Aide Therapist Program
Dental Health Aide Therapist educational tours
Along with the W.K. Kellogg and Rasmuson Foundations this program brings leaders in dentistry and public policy to Anchorage and Bethel to see firsthand how DHATs are educated and to witness how DHATs are integrated into the local health system and conduct their practices.
Rasmuson Foundation annual Funder’s educational tour
Assist the Rasmuson Foundation with the YK Delta portion of their annual Funders tour. This tour brings Funders from around the nation to Alaska so that they can have firsthand experience in the needs of the region.

BCSF participates as a partner in this program that provides post-secondary education opportunities in the local region. Some of the programs provided are: Dental Health Aide Therapist clinical training, Village Police Officer and Village Public Safety Officer academies, drivers’ programs, CNA training, construction/trades trainings and many other educational programs.

BCSF provides support as fiscal agent for this program that provides competitive grants to people wishing to start or expand small business’ in the YK region.
American Academy of Dental Therapists
This group is seeking to become the national organizational body for the DHAT’s. BCSF provides support as fiscal agent to this organization.
Rent Subsidies
The Foundation provides rent subsidies for Foundation-owned facilities occupied by people with mental illness or developmental disabilities and for non-profit tenants.
