Teens Acting Against Violence (TAAV) is a violence prevention and youth empowerment program at the Tundra Women’s Coalition for Bethel teens. TAAV focuses on many areas of resiliency and asset building with teens, including the value of peer education through classroom visits, radio PSAs, sponsoring healthy activities for local youth, and various community awareness campaigns. TAAV has won awards and received evaluation that shows the program’s value and effectiveness.
Established in 2014, this endowed fund supports TAAV, the violence prevention, early intervention & leadership program operated by Tundra Women’s Coalition. See their Facebook page.
